Mimo Tree - BildiSketch006

Happy Canada Day to all the Canadian's out there, hope you enjoy a lovely day tomorrow!

Today I have Mimo Tree which I decided to use for the BildiSketch006 challenge.

The is the list of stuff:

Cardstock: Bazzill Brown

Patterned Paper: Basic Grey Cappella "Timpani" & Sonata

Misc: Shimmer Frost on Rose, MS punch, misc. pearls & silk flowers

My image is watercoloured on watercolour paper with Tim Holtz distress inks.
I also wanted to share a card that my 10 year old daughter made for her teacher using Mimosa Artist. I was so proud I just had to post it, I think she is an artist in the making!

BildiSketch003 - Mimo Tree

Hello!

I am so loving the weather we are having this spring! Summer has come early for us in Southern Ontario. Though I am in no means trying to rush the season, my submission for the BildiSketch003 Challenge using the Bildmalarna Mimo Tree stamp pushes us forward into fall. I watercoloured the image and distressed the edges with ink as in the the closeup below . . .

At last I put my maple leaf punch to use to embellish my card and gold Stickles to capture the shimmer of the Indian summer sun.

Now to spring back into spring, summer's only beginning and it's going to be AWESOME!

I am sooooo excited to have finally filled my first Copics markers case. When I saw this adorable Mimo Tree stamp I knew I had to colour him for the first challange.
To colour him I used the following markers:

Skin: E000, E00, E02 & R20
Hair: Y21 & Y26
Shirt: B91, B95 & B97
Pants: C4, C5 & C7
Tree: E57 & E18
Leaves: G14 & G28
