Bildmalarna - Mimosa with a Flower

Hi All:

I'm back today with Mimosa with a Flower (I say a tulip but not 1oo% sure). I have coloured Mimosa with Copic's. I got my little Elna sewing machine out last night a thought it would be cool to do a bit of sewing on this card...I can't sew for beans but this was my gallant effort. The cardstock is American Craft textured "Straw & Olive", the patterned paper is Bo Bunny Double Dot "Chiffon". The rhinestones are a new release from Kaiser Craft called "Split Pea" & the flower is from Prima's new Innocence release. I also used the new Spellbinders dies "Big Scalloped Ovals Large & Small". Bildmalarna - Mimo Skate...another version!

Hi All:

I just loved Kathy's version of Mimo Skate; so I thought I would give him a try. I really quite enjoy doing 6 x 6 cards now because I have so much room to work with.

On this card I used American Craft textured cardstock - Charcoal & Cranberry. The patterned paper is Kaiser Craft from "Thrill Seeker" - one pattern is Discover & the other is Explore. I really enjoy two sided patterned papers because the co-ordinate together & make life so much easier for people like me. I cut out the words "BOYS WILL BE BOYS" from the opposite side of "Explore" patterned paper. The brads are American Craft medium black & I used a bit of white gel pen on the shoes.
